Can I wear this with a dress or skirt?
Yes. The open front falls in a straight line, so it layers cleanly over a dress the same way it does over jeans. The length sits past the hip, which works well with both.
Does the collar stay flat or does it roll?
The shawl collar is cut to fold naturally along the front edge. You can leave it as it falls, or smooth it flat after you put the cardigan on.
Does it close in front?
No. This is an open-front style with no buttons or zipper. It's made to hang open, which is what creates the long vertical line down the front.
